TDP 2014-2015 Largest Class Ever!

The TDP course 2014 - 2015 had the largest student enrollment to-date. A total of 30 students from three U.S. universities and three Chilean universities participated; University of North Texas (UNT), Buena Vista University (BVU), University of Connecticut (UConn), and the three Chilean universities were University of Magallanes (UMAG), Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with 8 faculty members and 1 visiting faculty, Dr. Tetsuya Kono from Rikkyo University in Japan.

"Professor speaks at international conference

Ricardo Rozzi, a philosophy and religion studies professor, spoke at an International Union for Conservation of Nature conference over the weekend. He was on a panel with Nelson Mandela's grandson, Luvuyo Mandela, and Myrna Cunningham Kain, secretary general of the Indigenous Inter-American Institute. The three spoke about standing up for their rights, parks and social equity. The week-long conference was estimated to bring more than 5,000 people from more than 160 countries to talk about inspiring solutions for parks, people and the planet."
