Ms. Arango's research has focused on the definition and implementation of the Magellanic Woodpeckar as a flagship species for the Cape Horn Biosphere Reserve. She worked as the Education Coordinator at Puerto Williams (IEB-UMAG) during 2005-2009, where she coordinated local environmental education programs at the school in Puerto Williams.
